The 2025 Ram 1500 pickup has arrived at Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and it comes with significant changes compared with 2024 models. This full-size truck has been thoughtfully designed inside and out to provide performance, comfort, and style. Let’s take a closer look.
Performance and Engine Options
Ram no longer builds Ram 1500 trucks with the legendary HEMI® V8 but now has a V6 and twin-turbo inline-six Hurricane gasoline powertrain with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The standard V6 is the basis of a 48-volt hybrid system and gives Souderton, PA drivers 305 horsepower. The twin-turbo inline-six-cylinder Hurricane engine is available in two states of tune, one that develops 420 horsepower and the other with 540 horsepower.
Towing and payload capability
Now that the HEMI® V8 is no longer available, the V6 engines give Pennsylvania drivers a maximum towing capacity of 11,580 pounds. The 2025 Ram 1500 will also have a respectable maximum payload of 2300 pounds.
